Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ClipTop (“ClipTop”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use ClipTop.

1. What ClipTop does

ClipTop turns footage you provide — uploaded video files or links to videos you have the right to use — into ranked “countdown” compilation videos using automated and AI tools. Output quality and results vary and are not guaranteed.

2. Your account

• You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure.
• You’re responsible for everything that happens under your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent where you live) to use ClipTop.

3. Your content and rights

You keep ownership of the footage you upload and the videos you create. By using ClipTop, you grant us a limited license to store, process, transcribe, transform, and render your content solely to provide the service to you (including sending it to the third-party processors listed in our Privacy Policy).

You are solely responsible for the rights to your footage. You represent that you own or are licensed to use everything you upload or link to, and that your content and finished videos don’t infringe anyone’s rights or break the law. Do not upload content you don’t have permission to use, and comply with the terms of any platform you pull footage from (e.g. YouTube, Twitch, Kick).

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use ClipTop to:

• Upload or create content that is illegal, infringing, hateful, harassing, or sexually exploitative;
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation;
• Break, overload, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service or its rate limits;
• Resell or redistribute the service itself without our permission.

5. AI-generated output

Rankings, captions, cuts, and other AI output are generated automatically and provided “as is.” They may contain errors. You’re responsible for reviewing what you export before publishing it anywhere.

6. Plans, billing, and cancellation

• Paid plans are billed through our payment processor, Stripe, on a recurring (monthly or annual) basis until cancelled.
• By subscribing you authorize recurring charges to your payment method.
• You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Plan limits (video count, resolution, formats, input length) apply as described on the pricing page.
• We may change prices with reasonable notice; changes apply to future billing periods.

7. Our intellectual property

ClipTop’s software, branding, and design are ours and protected by law. These Terms don’t grant you any rights to them beyond using the service as intended.

8. Termination

You may stop using ClipTop and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe create legal risk. On termination, your right to use the service ends and we may delete your content.

9. Disclaimers

ClipTop is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, availability, or that output will meet your expectations or be error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClipTop will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or content. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
